La Tradizione
The name Setecàpita (“if it happens”), of Venetian dialectal origin, is a tribute to a farmer who cultivated this vineyard for fifty years and who used “setecàpita” as a way of understanding and “feeling” the life. The Barbera grapes come from a single vineyard with the best exposure at midday. The soil is silt-sandy, with significant limestone and a fair amount of organic substance, morphological characteristics considered optimal for the cultivation of the Barbera vine.
